NEWS FROM THE FRENCH CORNER

Grade 6 They students did an outstanding job presenting their projects on their personality and their vision of where they could be in 20 years from now. Their work will be displayed in the French room #22.
They also started to read a novel about a veterinarian clinic hiring for part-time work. Later on, they will make up their own ad. They are really keen!

Grade 7 Everyone did a fabulous job on their presentations of an animal,  with facts well researched. We all learned something new today!
For homework, they have to read 3 short texts and answer questions. This is due on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 8:45 (before they leave for the day).

Grade 8 Several students were away today. However, we went ahead with the presentations of ads (radio or T.V.). Following the presentations, we continued reading the play.

Grade 9 The students are starting a short unit on the protection of animal. Short in lenght but long with impact. The students will have to create international laws to protect the rights of animals. This is in the global context of sustainability. This will be part of their projects and part of their mid-terms.

Grade 10/11 The students started a unit on sleep and dreams. At the moment, they are working on the vocabulary.
