NEWS FROM THE FRENCH CORNER

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!
Grade 7-8-9-10-11-12
***Please pick and choose 5 pieces of work from your French binder and make sure they have your name on them. I will photocopy them to place in your class binder and return the originals for you to study with. ***

Grade 10/11 The lesson (review) was related to the SI clause and the use of plus-que-parfait and the conditionnel passé. The students are strongly encouraged to review this section, practice and come to class with any questions they may have.

Grade 9 students worked on their section La cuisine du Nord and were treated to a guest speaker, Ms Kominek. She was able to give first hand account of her experience teaching in a northern First Nation community.
She was able to convey the hardships and the costs involved while living in the North. The grade 9 appreciate your input and now have material to work with for their up and coming task.

Grade 8 Several students were away on a field trip. So the remaining students had a chance to catch up with their presentation rough copy.

Grade 7 As several students were away on a field trip, students had a chance to catch up with the tricky passé composé with special verbs using the verb Être as the auxiliary.

Grade 6 BRAVO! Students had their 'on stage' rehearsal of their French skits which is an important component of their Exhibition. Bonne Chance!
